I received my Bachelor's in Education from University of Northern Colorado, with an Endorsement in English as a Second Language.  I then passed the Special Education Generalist test for the State of Colorado.

I started working for Weld re8 in the fall of 2006. I spend 4 years as a content tutor for the Special Education Department, and then 3 years working for the general population of students, and helping the ESL program. I started working as a Special Education teacher at the High School and Quest for the fall of 2013.

Prior to public education, I taught railroaders how to run locomotives. Ask me about it sometime.

Paul Heintzleman grew up in several different states across the Mid-West, settling in Colorado in 2003. At this time, he was traveling around the country teaching railroaders. His kids were going to school in Longmont, and he decided to change careers to be home more. Paul started working at Butler Elementary in the fall of 2006, and served there in multiple capacities, including supporting roles in the Special Education department, an ESL classroom, and serving as a long-term substitute for Music, Art and 4th Grade.

He graduated from UNC in 2012 with an Elementary Education degree and an ESL endorsement, and in 2013 started work at the High School and Quest as a Special Education teacher. During the summer of 2015, he started his Master's degree in Educational Psychology. Fall 2015 takes him to both the High School and Fort Lupton Middle School.
