Leticia Uttich is the technology teacher at Fort Lupton High School, focusing in the area of Graphic Design and student achievement. Born in Cuba, Leticia, at the age of two, relocated to the United States with her family. She is bilingual and understands the need of our ELL and ESL students.
Leticia earned her art certificate through Katherine Gibbs Art College in New Jersey. She also earned an associate’s degree in Computerized Accounting through Dover Business College, also in New Jersey. After moving to Colorado, Leticia earned her Bachelor’s degree in Management and Business with a focus on Technology and Human services from Kaplan University. Currently she is working towards (and is almost done with) her Master’s Degree in the Humanities and Social Sciences through American Public University.
Her professional career began as an artist and owner of her own t-shirt design company in New Jersey. Always seeking a challenge, Leticia moved to Colorado in 2000 and became Marketing Coordinator for the international trade company, Christian Booksellers Association. She decided in 2009 to obtain her teaching license, because in her heart, she had always wanted to help others pursue their talents. In early 2010, she began her career as a teacher at Fort Lupton High School.
“I believe learning is a life time process. I love learning and I love teaching. The relationship I have with my students is very important to me.”
