I have taught for more than 20 years, mostly as a special education teacher of students with mild to moderate needs.  For the last three years I have been teaching Algebra and Geometry to all students.

I attended high school in Douglas Wyoming and graduted in 1983.  After high school I got married and had my son.  My husband and I ran several small bussiness.  In 1990, I attended the University of Wyoming in Laramie graduating with Honors and a Duel bachelor degrees in Special Education K-12 and Elemetary Education.

I began teaching in Green River Wyoming at their high school in a mild to moderate disabilities special education classroom.  I remained there for four years, while I worked on my masters degree.  I returned to school at the University of Wyoming in 1999 and earned my masters in special education in 2000.  I continued on at UW as an adjunct teacher for several more years.

I joined the Fort Lupton team in 2006 and worked with our mild moderate team for seven years.  I decided to change to general education and took the PLACE test in 2013 and was hired to teach algebra and later geometry and continue today.
