Emphasis: Human Communication; Concentration: English as a Second Language;

Teaching Emphasis: Spanish K-12 Education. Foreign Language: Spanish, Teaching Master of Arts.



Nancy has been part of the Weld School District RE-8 since 2011 and in education since 1989.

She collaborates effectively with students, families, community, and colleagues to ensure that

all Migrant Education students obtain equal educational opportunities.

Prior to coming to Weld Re-8 Mrs. Wendirad taught Spanish I, II, III, IV, ELD, and Spanish

for Heritage Speakers I & II. Also, she has served as an Academic and LULAC Advisor.  



Nancy Wendirad was born and raised in Chihuahua, Mexico and she immigrated to Greeley, CO in 1981.

She is married and has a daughter.

Nancy graduated from the University of Northern Colorado. Additionally, she also studied

abroad in Mexico and Spain. 

She enjoys dancing, hiking, reading, running long distance, spending time with family, 

traveling, and volunteering.
