Migrant Education Student Advocate, Family Partnership Coordinator and LULAC Advisor

Nancy Wendirad was born and raised in Chihuahua, Mexico and she immigrated to Greeley, CO in 1981. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish K-12 Education; Communication: Human Communication and English as a Second Language Endorsement. She also has completed the course work toward a Master Degree at UNC in Foreign Language/Spanish Teaching. Additionally, she studied abroad in Mexico and Spain; she attended the Instituto de Estudios Computacionales and Universidad de Salamanca. Nancy has been part of the Fort Lupton Weld School District RE-8 since 2011. She collaborates effectively with students, families, community, and colleagues to ensure that all MEP students obtain equal educational opportunities.
